Hi, Team

I have the problem with text editing. When clicking the content to edit the product description, all the texts in the pop-up interface lose the layout. I am using the outdated license pro version. Is it the reason I got the probelm.

Initially I think it might be something wrong with wp core. However, after updating to the latest wp 6.5.3 today, the same issue exists.

To replicate the issue, I did the following: (Both staging and live are wp 6.5.3 version)

1. I tested it on the staging site with v.2.1.4.2 (old bear edit version), it has no this issue.

2. I tested it on the live site with v.2.1.4.4 (latest bear edit version, the issue exists.

Please advise how to fix it.

Unfortunately, I didn't understand the error in your video.

What I am trying to describe is as below. You may see that all the listed items or even the texts loses all the format when I click the content of product description. If I save it, the product description will look like below as well. The version is the latest. But the version 2.1.4.2 does not have this issue.

Try again. I reset the permission. Make sure you follow the route folder I wrote in the private area.

How to avoid the same issue to happen in the next updated version? You are going to fix it?

Unfortunately I can't change the JS file.  You may have configured caching of JS files on the server side

1. From your video, I can see the list items are not normal in the format either. If you save it, can you see the same format in the frontend with too much line height between?

I did save it before, and then I found all the listed items have too much in the line height.

2. If I download the version to 2.1.4.2, the issue will be gone. I confirm it because I tested it in the staging site. Can you tell me where I can find 2.1.4.2.

After testing on both the staging site (no caching at all and use incognito mode) and live site, unfortunately, nothing is changed after the JS modification you provided.

The image you gave is blank. From my end, I did purge everything from my end. I use the dreamweaver to change the JS file.

Also, I let the server help check the js file as well. The changes have been made successfully. All the caches are cleared from the server.

If you still can not see any update, please send me the old version: 2.1.4.2. Doing this can help me immediately to fix the issue instead of wasting your time.

You are right, the code has not been updated. The caches I have cleared include Wprocket, object cache, and server cache.

I found the old version: 2.1.4.2 from my end and installed it. Now everything is fine. Hopefully, you may resolve this issue in the next update.

I do not recommend using the old version, the more correct way is to update the cache (most likely on the server side)

Yes, you are right. However, I failed doing this even with the help from the server support. The cache has been totally cleared with the confirmation of the server support. And when the server support checked the js file you pointed out, the js code has been changed successfully.

But from the wordpress end, it has not been updated successfully. As an end user, we really do not have time to work out the codes or programming things. Many products need to be modified.

Looking forward to the new version of the plugin to get rid of this.
