Template override not working

I have tried placing files inside of my theme to override the default templates of the product filter plugin, but it doesnt work, it keeps using the default template.
I have tried placing the files in"my_wp_theme/woof/views/html_types/checkbox.php","my_wp_theme/woocommerce/woof/views/html_types/checkbox.php","my_wp_theme/woocommerce-products-filter/views/html_types/checkbox.php","my_wp_theme/woocommece/woocommerce-products-filter/views/html_types/checkbox.php"
But none of them work and i am unable to change any of the templates

https://products-filter.com/can-i-override-any-extension-view-file-for-my-site-needs - this way works for overriding only views for WOOF extensions. But you can also override file 'views/html_types/checkbox.php' using hook 'woof_html_types_view_checkbox' -> https://products-filter.com/woof_html_types_view_checkbox https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210908140316.png
I tried using the hook, but then i get"/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/index.php"
I dont think i should be adding files directly to the plugin folder...
