Hello, When I click the"+" button on the column to see the sub categories it looks very jerky and not smooth. Can you help please.

Hi,

The sub menu just seems to click into place, the text moves very quickly just as the panel opens up. it looks like the width is too small.

It looks OK on the smaller device like a phone though.

the text moves very quickly just as the panel opens up - I checked that it works correctly, if you want to change it you need JS code customization

On the category page, the filter shows only child categories

This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products   )
