Hi,

My filter is set up to show all my attributes in the sidebar.

When i enter my website and navigate to a proper shop category and then from that category page, I select a filter .. the proper filter name shows up nicely in the sidebar to show what has been selected.

i.e  Pack Type : Variety Pack

This is great.

However if I am on the woo commerce shop page which I have set up as /home/ and select a filter, the slug version of the filter shows up in the sidebar, not the actual name so the sidebar shows..

Pack Type : variety-pack    x

instead of

Pack Type : Variety Pack   x

This also happens when i am on a single product page and select a filter in the sidebar. The results are given and the slug is shown in the sidebar instead of the proper name.

Also, when more filters are selected after this, the next results are shown properly as names, but the first choice still shows as a slug like this,

Pack Type:      variety-pack   x
Style:               Sharp                x
Colour:           Black                 x

How can i make the original choice show as the proper name instead of the slug. It works fine everywhere else but not on the results when showing on the shop page.

Thanks for you help.

(btw. my shop is in maintenance mode still so to view this you will have to log in. Details are in the private data tab. Thanks)

Hello

Please  check  this  option - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210902123941.png - result - some img

That works perfectly, thanks a lot for your excellent support :-)

One more thing, I have added a further request in the private data tab. Please could you have a look and we would be most grateful if you could help.

Thank you.

Hello

Ok!  Done!

Welcome;)

Hi,

Sorry to come back to this again but I've found another issue relating to this topic.

All is working well when we select filters from Woof they appear in the sidebar widget correctly, however...

..if you then also select the Woo pull down filter on the page (for example for 'Sort by Latest' or Popularity') then that filter result appears in the Woof sidebar widget as a slug...

Like this ...

Pack Type: Variety Pack   x
Colour: Black     x
orderby: popularity   x

or..

Pack Type: Variety Pack   x
Colour: Black     x
orderby: date   x

or..

Pack Type: Variety Pack   x
Colour: Black     x
orderby: price low to high   x

This 'orderby:' slug looks messy.

How can we make the slug show nicely in the widget as 'Sort by popularity' or 'Sort by latest' or 'Sort by price: Low to high' as they shown when choosing the selector?

Thanks for your help :-)

(Site is still in maintenance mode so login details in the private tab)

Hello

You  can  change  it   in  file -\wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-products-filter\index.php  - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20211006125534.png

Thank you, that works perfectly :-)

I would like to keep these changes I have made to this code even if I receive an update to the Woof filter in the future.

Is there any easy way of doing this ? I've tried using code snippets but it didn't work.

Thanks

Hello

You can override this variable in your JS file

connect your file after - 'woof_front'

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I am not a programmer so I don't understand what you mean. If you could give a little more instruction it would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Hello

Ok!  Try  on  your  theme   find  js file

and  paste  code:

jQuery(document).ready(function() {

woof_lang.orderby="Your any text";

});

Hi,

I'm looking for the js file in my theme. Is it in this folder?

...wp-content/themes/storefront/assets/js

There are lots of files in the folder. Please see the image.

Which file should I edit to add the code? :

jQuery(document).ready(function() {

woof_lang.orderby="Your any text";

});

..........

or do you mean in this js folder....?

.../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/js

Thanks
