Hello. I'm trying to set up a slide out filter like the one on your demo site here:

https://demo.products-filter.com/

Is it possible to see the shortcodes and settings you have used for this at all? I'm actually only really interested in the hierarchy dropdown and product category sections

Being able to see the backend, admin settings of these demos would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance : )

What I actually need is the following. I just can't work out how to do it.

I am only filtering product categories as my site isn't actually products but people, so no price / quantity / stock / colour etc. just parent / child / child categories.

Basically, I need different filters for parent categories and child categories. I need to separate them.

My structure is set via the 'structure' section, but there doesn't seem any way to add to this (only one 'product category' section in 'stucture', and I can't work out if I just need to add more shortcode to the slideout shortcode?

I have this shortcode on 3 pages, each with a different category - UK, USA. International:

[woof_slideout image=null image_h=50 image_w=50 location=left speed=100 action=click offset=25% onloadslideout=false text=Filter ][/woof_slideout]

[woof_products orderby=random_order per_page=24 taxonomies=product_cat:115]

This produces a grid of products in the specified category with a left aligned slideout. The slideout is currently set with nested checkboxes, generated by using 'product category' in 'structure'

An example of my categories is as follows:

UK
- Gender
--male
--female
-Age
--18-24
--25-30
- Characteristics
--option 1
--option 2
--option 3
--option 4
--option 5
--option 6
--option 7
--option 8

USA
- Gender
--male
--female
-Age
--18-24
--25-30
- Characteristics
--option 1
--option 2
--option 3
--option 4
--option 5
--option 6
--option 7
--option 8

Internaltional
- Gender
--male
--female
-Age
--18-24
--25-30
- Characteristics
--option 1
--option 2
--option 3
--option 4
--option 5
--option 6
--option 7
--option 8

I need each of the 3 pages to only have it's respective filter list (only UK on UK page etc)
I then need to filter by gender to remove either men or women from any further selection.

Then, after this, all filters can be multiple. For example - USA female only but multiple ages and characteristics can be selected to show all results but only in USA female, as per the initial selection.

How do I do this in a slideout?

Thanks very much in advance. I appreciate your time

Hello

My  test - https://c2n.me/4iTnplR  - everything seems to be working correctly

Hello again. Yes, what you showed me did work but, as in my initial message, I need it to work differently from this.

Categories are already divided on 3 pages:

Products for UK only on page 1 (grid of all UK products only)

Page 2 are USA product grid only

Page 3 is international products in grid only.

All products only have categories and tags - no other variations or parameters - no size, weight, colour, price etc to filter.

I need something like this (just a quick example with reduced categories):

UK page already set as grid on page, so these filters only affect UK already (this example is just a quick graphic mockup so not 100% accurate) :

So, UK already set on page. Gender and age refine result to only show results from those settings - eg UK, female, 25-30.

THEN

all / any further refine settings only show results from the above. So, from the above, always UK, female, 25-30 but can add all or some from 'refine' - can select 'english south' and 'english irish' and 'serious' and 'warm'

so, UK page shows:

UK, female, 25-30 only

Then:

english south, english irish, serious, warm

Does that make sense?

It's almost like I need this - the ability to add more 'product category' setting in structure with different categories included, each with different settings, like this mockup:

If there's a different way to achieve this, I'm happy to change category layout or add different fields.

Thanks again in advance

Hello

Unfortunately, I do not see your screenshots and I'm not sure that I understood you correctly

Try to use services for transferring images by link

Not sure why you can't see the images. Maybe your local browser settings? I can see them on every browser / device I use.

Anyway, I've recreated my post here:

Thanks again for your help

Hello

OK! Plugin can't split taxonomy into multiple filters

And the problem is not in the filter, but in the structure of storing taxonomies in the database, the search will not give the desired result.

Because you need to create custom code that will combine comparison logic within one taxonomy

Thanks for the reply. Is there another way of doing what I need if I alter my category structure? Us tags or AFC or similar?

Also, as in my initial email, an explanation of the admin setup of the slide out filter on your demo page would help greatly. For example, how is 'location' in the hierarchy dropdown separate from the 'product categories? Also, how are 'Brands', product season, product collection created?

https://demo.products-filter.com/slideout/

Is it possible to get an export file of the slideout settings on the demo page above? That way I can understand how it works and hopefully achieve what I need.

Thanks again in advance

This is the kind of filter system I need:

Maybe product attributes can be used? How do I add them to the structure?

I found this page on your site, which might achieve what i need with the Custom Post Type UI but, I can't see my CPT in the 'structure' section. How do I get it into the structure?

This part seems to suggest it will just be shown in the structure, but it isn't?

'That is all, now you can go to HUSKY panel, into first tab and activate this taxonomy to see it in the filter form' ?? My CPT isn't shown.

Hello

My plugin doesn't create any data, my plugin only searches for products. First you need to set up your products and your products data structure

To add data you can use attributes, tags, custom fields or custom taxonomies.  There are many ways to do this, but it does not depend on my plugin. My plugin will automatically add the data you created for the product to the structure. My plugin will automatically add the data you created for the product to the structure

I can't see my CPT in the 'structure' section. How do I get it into the structure? - Have you installed this plugin? - https://c2n.me/4iWLyjH.png

But I advise you to use the standard product attributes
