Settings reset and Show image variation not working

Two issues we'd like to try to resolve
When we change the settings, it likes to reset half or all of the settings we try to do. We asked support to check if it was a PHP limit but they verified that it wasn't and it's way above the php_value. (https://products-filter.com/lot-taxonomies-settings-page-save-options-doesn-works).
We want to enable Show Image Variation, but when we try to enable the setting and save, it defaults to no.
When Turbo mode is turned on, it caches ~2000 products and then freezes. When we go back to settings, everything is reset back to default (Changed to No). Options -> Hide empty terms, for example, sets to No.

This accurately shows all products tagged with black, however, there are 2 problems. (1) the specific variations shown are not black. (2) if you click the black tile on the left, it says no results found

Color and color group - These are different attributes.
If you have selected one attribute then products with another attribute should not be displayed
