Dear Support Team, we are currently using the following settings for the SEO URL request: Enable/Disable is set to active, which changes the url. Our SEO specialists said we should disable it for the search engine.

If I deactivate this, the stored"Rules" with the texts are no longer displayed on the category page.

These are stored as follows: /product_cat-name/

I also noticed that when you click into a category, the category field in the filter on the front is hidden and the customer cannot switch directly to another category from the filter. But this is mandatory and important for us.

We use this option as a dropdown. However, the product category is never hidden on your test page: https://demo.products-filter.com/

I hope you can help me!
Thank you for your support

Hello

If you disable this opium, of course this extension will not work.

I also noticed that when you click into a category, the category field in the filter on the front is hidden and the customer cannot switch directly to another category from the filter. - On the category(taxonomy) page, the filter shows only child categories(taxonomies)

This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products )

Hello, thanks for the answer.

I was able to solve it. I linked the categories directly with:

https://domain.com/angebote/check/product_cat-../ so it's better for us and it's always displayed.

Under"SEO URL request" I have stored the"URL of the page" as follows: /product_cat-.../ without -{any} is that correct or do I only have to store all properties there?

Or what is the best way to enter it that I do not have duplicate content in google?

Thanks for the support

Hello

I linked the categories directly with:  - this is very important, This is not a link to a category page, this is a link to a shop page with a category search result

as follows: /product_cat-.../ without -{any} is that correct or do I only have to store all properties there?  - please describe why you add this rule? i need to know what you want so i can help you

if you don't want to index search result pages don't add anything to these rules

Hello Pablo, thanks for your support.

We have some main categories between which our customers can switch in each category using the filter currently with the settings. As this is an important option in our field. That's why we have also stored our own meta description in each main category: /product_cat-.../

If we now want to optimize the filter for SEO, this would probably be wrong, right? Since each property should have its own meta description in addition to the category, since google then points us to the same headings and descriptions.

So the question is, what is the best way to solve this?

Thanks for the support

Hello

So  use  /product_cat-{any}/    -  then indexing will work for every search by category.  To make descriptions different, use variables  {product_cat}

An examle: https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230614132855.png

Hello thanks for the support. and if i need a separate description with own texts for each category?

What about the properties then? Do I have to adjust them then?

Sorry for the many questions, just don't want to put anything wrong.

Thanks for the support

Hello

and if i need a separate description with own texts for each category?  - then you need to create a rule for each category - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230615114449.png

What about the properties then? - {product_cat}  - This simply substitutes the name of the current search query.  If there is a search for the category music, this {product_cat} will change to music. This does not make sense if you will make a description for each category

Thank you very much, then I'll just leave the categories.

Thanks for the support

Welcome;)

Hello, I have another question, I have now created all categories and entered the shop page /shop/ and stored the text.

How do I make it so that it now displays a specific text for a certain property that you can click on?

Thanks for the support

Hello

Please describe in more detail an example of what you want to get

The url /shop/ should have its own description.

But for the URL /shop/check/b2b-property/ I only need a separate description for this one check option in the filter.

The categories are stored with /product_cat-.../

Can this be implemented?

Thanks for the support

Hello

So  add  this  rule - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230623123559.png

Hello currently it is stored like this:

/shop/check/b2b-test-test/

Unfortunately it will not be accepted.

Does it have to be /shop/check/b2b-test/ so that it works, so only 1 word?

Thanks for the support

Hello

If you want to use the multi-term query option -  /shop/check/b2b-test-and-test/

Hello the property is called b2b below it there is the option company customer so it would then be /shop/check/b2b-company customer right? Then he doesn't take it.

Thanks for the support

Hello

To get the correct path, just do a search and copy part of the URL

Hi I have given you the url under"private data"

Hello

Ok  use /check/b2b-betriebliche-ferienbetreuung/
