Selecting filters doesn't actually do anything...

The support doesn work on Saturdays and Sundays, so some Friday requests can be answered on Monday. If you have problems with registration ask help on contact us page please

Whenever I select a filter, I see a 'Loading' message appear, but the products displayed on page don't actually change. I understand that AJAX search was not guaranteed to be compatible with all themes (I am using Astra Theme), but is there anything I can do to try and fix it? If I manually reload the page then the filters are applied, but I'd prefer if the products were filtered without a complete page reload.
