Dear WOOF-Support team,

I kindly ask you to fix the following issue that I am facing on my website:

The search by text doesn't function and product names are not recognized by the filter plugin. Thus, search results are always negative although product names are typed correctly.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Kind regards

Hello Masih

It looks like a conflict with a third-party software.

Even standard search does not work on this site - https://c2n.me/45ApudA.png

Please  try  to disable  all  plugins except  woo+woof  and  do  test

Hello Pablo,

many thanks for your reply and for your support.

I have identified a third party plugin that causes a conflict. I kindly ask for your help in order to eleminate this issue. Please reply to my request in the private data area for this topic. Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Masih

Hello Masih

You  can drop   link to  the  free  version - https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/ This plugin has the same code and is suitable for adaptation with third-party plugins.

Hi Pablo,

many thanks for you reply. I informed the plugin provider.

I am also facing the following issue and kindly ask for your help. I am trying to transalte the text"orderby: popularity" , "orderby: ratings" , etc. that appears when standard WooCommerce filter on the shop page is applied : https://share.getcloudapp.com/Koue8Je9.

Where can I find the string containing the source text?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Masih

Hello Masih

You can translate this with a standard plugin. Example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

These  strings - \wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-products-filter\index.php - https://c2n.me/45EZEXx.png

Hello Pablo,

many thanks for your support.

I am using the loco translate plugin but somehow it cannot find the source text. The reason for that might be, as the plugin indicates, that some data can't be synchronized and thus are not available for translation. https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uDGZql

Kind regards,

Masih

Hello Masih

You can  add  these  strings   to  .po .mo files   OR    re-scan plugin  to  get   new  .po .mo files - https://www.icanlocalize.com/tools/php_scanner

Hi Pablo,

thank you for your reply.

Regarding the translation issue : thanks a lot, I will try the workarounds that you suggest.

As for the search by text function issue : please find a response from the plugin's provider in the private data section.

Many thanks for your time and consideration.

Kind regards,

Masih
