Quote from panuo on September 16, 2024, 13:34Hi,
I had a problem, that Product Filter was showing attribute values that were not present anymore for any products (One product had them, but it was them updated to another value, however slider showed the old value still even though I have manually cleared the cache... anyway).
I tried to fix this by unchecking "Enable archives?". This didnt' fix my issue, but it removed the whole attribute from product filters.
Now when I re-enable this checkbox the attribute does not come back as filter option. Is there any way to get this attribute back on filter options?
I have tried to uncheck+check that checkbox multiple times + I verified that the attribute is visible on Structure tab. I tried to resave products, manually tweak the attribute values, but nothing seems to help.

Quote from panuo on September 17, 2024, 19:15Is that setting somehow linked into how filters are shown? Like could I update/insert something into database to get that one attribute back as filter?

Quote from panuo on September 18, 2024, 10:55I managed to get the missing attribute back by going into Permalinks page and save settings without doing any changes. So I think it is somehow related to permalinks... Filter is not shown in secondary language (of course, so I need to solve that next)

Have you translated all the taxonomies correctly?
What plugin do you use for translation?
Please drop me exact link to the issue

Quote from panuo on September 18, 2024, 13:40We are using WPML.
Another fun fact is that we have products that has LOTS of different attribute values (10 attributes and values varies greatly). When user does filtering, the tool does approx 1600 different SQL queries. Terms and dynamic count cache doesnt help with that. Only way to avoid this is disable counts. By disabling counts in dropdowns we get down to approx ~400 SQL queries per filtering(/page load). I think this tool is not suitable for sites that has over 1000 different products and lots of different attributes in them.

The load depends on the number of taxonomies. For dynamic counting, the filter must make a query for each term of the taxonomy, otherwise not determine the number of products in the current search
