Hi,

i am facing severe issues on my website with products filtering.

my needs are very simple, but it doesn’t work the expected way. Basically I want that:

  • Catégories, attributes for out of stock products should be hidden,
  • The pagination doesn’t work at all on my website as I have sometimes 5 products on one page, then 2 the next one and then the maximum of 9 or so that is defined.
  •  I also have want to display child categories under the parent categories to allow users to select directly without having to load one after the other,

Can you please help urgently as it is not effective for the time being and my clients are complaining?

2)  Describe in more detail how I can repeat this error

3)  Then don't use another type of filter(checkbox OR Multi-select)

  1. I don’t want that out of stock products are taken into consideration in the count next to the categories or labels. It’s misleading for the user. I would like that we show only what’s available to purchase.
  2. the pagination is working fine thanks to the 32 in advanced options
  3. it’s not working this way. I have tried checkboxes but nothing even appears.
  4. when activating the turbo mode, Ajaxification of the site is not stopping getting back to yes even if I set it to no

can you help on all this?

1) I understood it. I ask you to describe it in more detail (I don’t know the products in your store). Write which specific filter should be hidden, which terms are out of stock now

i don’t want to hide any category or attribute. I want that products out of stock are not considered in the count made

for now it takes into consideration all products even if only half are effectively available. I would like that the count exclude out of stock products.

then if Ajax is not supported the n turbo mode is not available and then the performance is unacceptable. What can we do?

Unfortunately if the current theme is incompatible with ajax mode then turbo mode will not work

visibility is not a solution as it would require changing all the values manually and it doesn’t work, I have already tried.

I have read a lot of posts on your forum complaining about the out of stock products that are counted next to a category or quick search (stevecvl or something like this even modified index.php to get rid of the issue).

couldn’t you add an option to exclude out of stock products from the filters and count yes or no and clear this annoying issue for everyone?

on my website it’s really creating big issues in the count and if per example after having selected Bebe fille in the category you click on the last paginated page, you will either get a blank page with a 0 or a 404!

i will have to get back to the standard filtering solution of woocommerce which is not ideal but at least doesn’t create more issues than it solves.

you are very nice, you answer to our queries but please look for a more sustainable solution.
