Dear support team,

We use a category module from Woocommerce on the start page, which redirects to the URL /product-category/category-name/.

As a result, the associated field is not displayed. Unless I then select a different filter option in the sidebar.

If I then reset the selection, I stay in this category.

The links in the menu above all go to the URL /angebote/check/product_cat-name/ here all filters work.

We can set the system so that no matter how you get into the category, the filter works correctly.

The URL for comparison and the website are inserted under"Private data for this topic".

Our customers use the WOOF filter to filter on angebote/check/brand_..

On the test page, we adopted the categories /product-category/category-name/ from Woocommerce.

Now all visitors who click on a picture of the category come to /product-category/category-name/

as a result, the category selection is no longer displayed in the sidebar of the category. You can select everything, only this one area has disappeared.

I have sent you the demo link in the private area. Under the Woof menu you can see the Woocommerce categories as images. If you click on it, you will get to the category. It is then no longer possible to switch to another category. This option is hidden in the Woof Sidebar filter.

would it bring anything if I import the /product-category/ to /offers/ by means of a forwarding?

What do I have to set so that the /product-category/ is displayed in the sidebar so that you can change it?

Since this is not displayed when I switch from the demo page to the /product-category/.

Hello

OK! I will try to explain it in more detail

On the category page, the filter shows only child categories
 This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products   )

In another case this is not a filter - this menu.

The filter only makes search queries and cannot redirect to other archive pages. Therefore, on the category page it is impossible to search for another category (redirection is needed and this is the menu functionality)

I changed the category URL to offers/check and now it works as I would need it to.

Now you can filter all categories and tags.
