Hi there,
I'm facing a problem with the bear / woobe bulk editor.
Because of a fulfilment API we implemented with our supplier, we have to recreate all products. They got imported in woo with text attributes, and we cannot change this because then the products won't be pushed back correctly to the fulfilment API.
Because of this, we could not use the bulk editor anymore to update our products regular prices.
Now however, we stumbled upon a new problem when trying to set up analytical software which needed COGS prices for profit calculations.
We have 3000 variations, so it would be a real hassle to update this all manually.
So i've been looking for a workaround, and i thought i found one but it turned out that does not work too.
All of the specific variations of products with corresponding COGS costs have their own unique combination of shape attribute (which is a woo attribute, no text attribute) and regular price.
I tried filtering the variations on this shape attribute and price, and when i do this exactly the variations i need get filtered. However, when i try to bulk edit the COGS on these products (i added the COGS as a custom meta field, which i can later on map in a spreadsheet to the corresponding variable in my profit calculation application), and go back to for instance all products which have the same shape attribute, i see that not only the size variations i filtered got edited, but all variations under the parent products.
I've also tried filtering the variations and then editing them with 'select all variations > binded editing', this did worked. But i can't use this option in bulk, only on a few products.
It would be perfect if you have a solution for this, and if you do i am willing to pay for the plugin too.
Please watch this Loom for better understanding and visualisation of the problem: https://www.loom.com/share/753d64904d264c0e89bc01042f9a11e0
Thank you very much in advance
