Pre-sales question: multiple, independent filters

We need to create 2 or 3 different types of filters for our store. One would allow people to find items by features ("red""blue""spicy""mild" etc) and one would allow people to find by benefits ("losing weight""help me sleep") etc.
But the 2 have to operate independently of each other so even though one product might have"features" and"benefits" we could display either of the filters independently of each other.
Does this product allow that?

If features AND benefits - are different taxonomies - in this case you won’t get such a result
you need code customization.
