hey, so i am interested in the product filter plugin. I just need to ask few things before i make the purchase so i know it fits my requirement.

i have a board game website. my product have attributes like no of players (its a range like 3-10yrs), duration of play (ex: 80-mins).

now i will be adding then as attributes in simple product (not variable product), so i want to ask if i can make these into a range slider so just like the price range filter the customer can slide and set a upper and lower limit? I specifically want in range filter only .

please let me know if this is possible using your filter plugin. I will make the purchase ASAP.

duration of play - There are no problems with this. And this is possible (even
better) make it as meta data

players (its a range like 3-10yrs)  - There are problems here because using a range you need to look for a range.  And my plugin does not have such a feature. alternative solution: split this into two attributes (minimum and maximum age). And filtering will be based on two sliders (ranges)

thanks for the idea. i purchased the plugin

for the first one can you tell me how to add it as a meta data?

for the 2nd can i just create an attribute like age range, add numbers upto 100(as this is our upper limit) and then make 2 sliders?

aslo for this, we do have a situation lets say people want to filter only above 20yrs age, no upper limit as such, what can be done in this case?

Hello

  1.  - https://products-filter.com/video#93t9SjSpe4k  I suggested meta data because the search will be faster than using taxonomy and meta data can work with mathematical operations. But the downside is that metadata is a little harder to set up on the product page
  2. one filter will work for one taxonomy or meta field. That is, for two filters you need two taxonomies

we do have a situation lets say people want to filter only above 20yrs age, no upper limit as such, what can be done in this case? - then you just need to move only the left part of the slider
