Hi

I am looking for a plugin to do the following:

1 - Filter by height and filter by width - preferably on a slider (the same as you see with price on many wesbites). I see on your demo you can do this, but I am trialling your plugin and cannot see how to set that up. Is it only in pro?

2 - Currently my website uses the height, width depth and weight to determine postage cost. I have some products that come as a pair (So I use the width of both pieces as the dimensions, and simply write the width of both of the pieces in the pair in the description, to ensure postage calculates correctly. I'd therefore need the filter to use the actual dimnension of each in the pair, instead of the over-all width input for shipping calculation.

Is it possible to set up a second width value (perhaps as meta data) meta data to be used by the filter, instead of the width value that is in woo commerce. (I hope that makes sense) I have looked into setting it up as an attribute, but cannot work out how to add it in so that it can be on a value slider.

Hi

RHanks - not sure I have been asnweredthrough.

 

1 - so it this only in pro then? Is that why I cannot see this currently?

 

2 - I think maybe you've misunderstood. The values would be numberic values. But I would need to set up a different value for size for the actual product vs shipping size (which is what is currently thre value of the size for each product in woo commerce) The shipping size nd the actual size are, of course, different.

1  - It is available in all versions. You should activate this extension (watch the tutorial video)

2 - Then add a meta field with your custom size value and filter by this field

Hi Pablo

 

Many thanks for your reply and pointing out the extensions.

I must be doing something wrong, because when I look in extensions, the slider (assuming that the one you meant I should activate? says it is pro only, so it's looks like I can't trial it.

I also could not find anything in the video relating to using mea data for sliders rather than attriutes (attributes is around 13:45). It's quite a long video with no timestamps to mark where each function is explained, so it's possible I did miss it, but I don't think I missed what I was looking for.

I added the meta as suggested, but was unable to work out how to filter by that field - Is this is because I was unable to acitvate the slider?

Please read this - https://products-filter.com/extencion/woocommerce-filter-by-meta-fields  - For any metadata filter you need to activate this extension - https://c2n.me/4hz7x9m.png (not  slider)

Then adjust the slider in the meta filter settings  - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230112110428.png

Ah Brilliant, thank you. I had a good play with the settings to discover what I could without bugging you. :)

 

A couple more things I have discovered that I would like to make sure of:

1 - The title of the filter in the sidebar says"HUSKY Filter" Can this be changed with pro? (I can't find how to change that title)

 

2 - Is it possible to change the slider colour with or without pro?

1 This is just the title of the widget, it can be easily changed in the widget settings

All this is available in the free version.
