I have a problem where the HUSKY filter stopped saving changes after a big product/taxonomy import. I've followed the suggestions and set php_value max_input_vars 30000 in the .htaccess file, but any time I try to save a change in the HUSKY filter, this line php_value max_input_vars 30000 disappears from my .htaccess file. I've spoken to my hosting and they said this is the correct way to change this value. Also, i can see the value updated from my Server Info tab in the WordPress backend.
Can you please let me know why this plugin wipes the php_value max_input_vars 30000 from .htaccess file? Or how can I address the issue and have the plugin function properly when having too many taxonomies?

My plugin cannot delete any files or lines from files or otherwise affect the file system outside the wp-content folder
This is a standard PHP setting and it depends only on your server. Write to hosting support please

Thank you for replying, i've already spoken to my hosting and this is what I received from them:
"You do not have access to the php.ini itself with our shared hosting plans such as Web Hosting, Web Server or Web Server Dedicated.
However, you can adjust certain PHP values via .htaccess.
https://www.php.net/manual/en/ini.list.php
All values listed there, where "PHP_INI_PERDIR" or "PHP_INI_ALL" is written in the "Changeable" column, can be changed by you using a .htaccess file.".
But what I can't understand is if your plugin doesn't modify the .htaccess file, why does the php_value max_input_vars 30000 disappear from the .htaccess file only when I make a save in your plugin settings? P.S. I've actually realized it happens as soon as I open the settings of your plugin, I don't even have to attempt saving. This doesn't happen with any other plugin that i've tried. The php_value max_input_vars 30000 remains in the .htacess file and i can see in the WP backend server info that the value is indeed increased. Only after opening your plugin settings does that line disappear from the .htaccess file and the value gets rolled back to the default one, which is 1000. Any idea?
