I have set the default"Hide children in checkboxes and radio" to"no," so all categories are expanded. Now, I want to collapse them again on click, but the"Hide children in checkboxes and radio" value should remain"no." This means I should be able to expand or collapse categories as I wish on click.
And How I display just the Parent Categories. In Short code.

- In this case for each taxonomy blocks you should set for"Show toggle button" Yes or No - only in such case it will be possible to show hide the block
- parent terms - such feature doesn exist, only trick is here - in tab Structure you can write ids of top terms for taxonomies you want into textinput"excluded terms ids" and click on checkbox"Reverse" - in this case will be displayed terms you inserted - but this is not for shortcode as it not has such feature and need custom dev
