Is there a reason we have to take extra time to download your plugin from CodeCanyon and then re-upload it within Wordpress each time you have an update?  This seems very archaic and slow.  Why doesn't the plugin come with updates that can be performed within Wordpress like the rest of my plugins?

I'm not sure but I think when I replaced the plugin it also changed some of the sale time dates.

Hello

Why doesn't the plugin come with updates that can be performed within Wordpress - Because you bought this plugin on envato.  Wordpress.org  and  envato - these are different platforms.

read  this - https://bulk-editor.com/howto/how-to-make-auto-update-for-wordpress-plugins-and-themes-bought-on-envato/

it also changed some of the sale time dates  - please describe it in more detail. I remember we once solved this problem with you. After that, we investigated this in more detail and changed the code.

I bought it on envato because that's the only place I could buy it.  I installed the Envato plugin but it doesn't work all of the time so when your plugin needs another update I'm not sure it will work.  I installed it on 2 different sites which have Envato plugins and out of 3 plugins only 1 updated, the other 2 said, 'Updating failed. The plugin is at the latest version' but it shows that the new version is not the same as what is installed.   This is bad for security reasons that Envato makes it so challenging to keep plugins up-to-date.

Hello

I installed it on 2 different sites which have Envato plugins - One  license  - one  domain

that Envato makes it so challenging to keep plugins up-to-date. - Unfortunately, we cannot influence this. We do not operate the envato platform.

As an alternative way to update:

Delete  the  old  version  and  install  the new  version. all settings  will  be  saved

To  get  latest  version - https://codecanyon.net/downloads
