Hi there I am trying to modify the content of the products page https://apexfilling.com/shop/

I need to be able to display custom meta data and a short truncated description of the products. I am a bit confused with the docs as to where I should get started or what hooks/filters to use. I have read the docs and I can write out the code. I just need some general direction on where to look

Thanks!!

Hello Miguel

My plugin is a filter and I have nothing to do with your product display template

To customize the template, you should hire a developer.

Read  this  please https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-visual-hook-guide-archiveshopcat-page/  and  https://storecustomizer.com/woocommerce-shop-page-hooks-visual-guide/ - to  find  hooks

To get   meta - https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_post_meta/

I just need some general direction on where to look - There are no secret data here that will help you learn everything in a minute,  to learn you should read the documentation, this path is the same for everyone

Awesome, thanks for the info Pablo I appreciate it. I was under the assumption that this used a custom template to display that and I couldn't figure out which one to overwrite.

Now that I know this plugin simply resorts the default woocommerce product template I can get to work. I'll start reading the woocommerce docs now and go from there. Thanks again!

Great! Welcome;)
