Maybe this was covered but I could not find it and I just want to be"safe"

I have WOOF version 3.3.0 but it's not showing upgrade available to HUSKY

HUSKY shows 3.3.2 on the market.

I was just curious the proper upgrade/migration to ensure all the settings in place under WOOF are maintained and then future upgrades will be done properly under HUSKY

Appreciate the feedback before I just take a stab and break something :)

Cheers

Hello

WOOF and HUSKY is the same plugin, only new name, no more changes in the code. We had to do the plugin rebranding due to circumstances beyond our control.

I figured it was a rebranding.  But I am still not sure how to move to the newly branded (newer version) and not lose the configs.  Will the new plugin package just ask to overwrite the old one or will it be seen as a new folder/plugin?  I am just trying to be safe on the site where it's used that's all :)

Hello

Everything will be as before. Only the plugin name text has changed. Folders and all files have not changed

For the record:

Looks good to go :)

Hello

Ok! And as I wrote in the previous message - the folder name and code remained the same! Of course there will be an error if you install the same plugin a second time

If you want to update the plugin please read this - https://products-filter.com/how-to-make-auto-update-for-wordpress-plugins-and-themes-bought-on-envato

I think you MIs understood.  I was merely saying that screen shot was what I expected to see manually upgrading a plug-in as it showed the old version and the new version number.

also I have the envato plug-in installed BUT it was not showing this as upgrade available only the “install” options possibly I suspect from the name change.  So instead I did the manual download and upload procedure and again the screen cap is 100% A-OK it’s not actually an error it’s the expected and correct behavior and information I wanted to see.

I was simply letting you and other know the manual upgrade to force the newsy version with the new name went smoothly.

Hello

oh! Understand you

thank you for your cooperation!
