Meta Filter not working

I am unable to get this filter to work for the house plants category https://dev.englishgardens.com/house-plants/
I have added the meta field"pa_usage" and have tried to add all types but only search by text will appear in the filter. I would like to add a checkbox filter. The meta keys do exist and are"Floor Plant,Hanging Plant,Table Plant"
Any ideas what I am doing wrong or why this would not work?
Also, is there a way to have the checkboxes appear for all meta keys that apply for all products in the category? Can it auto generate that list of checkbox?

Only one checkbox is available for one meta key. pa_usage - If you want to use several values for this key, use multi dropdown or dropdown.
This is still not working for me. I have set as dropdown with"Floor Plant,Hanging Plant,Table Plant" and the filter does not work. This has worked in the past.

I already have these in the system set up as Attributes. I shouldnt need to add them in as Custom Fields, correct? Is there a reason the Filter would not see them as Attributes?
I think I have figured this out. They are in the list, just prefixed by"Product" and I wasnt seeing them. Thank you!
