Hello,

I adressed problems with attributes appearing in Google searches. Luckily it seems Yoast has made it possible to globally turn off all archives.

But now, instead, your ajax urls are appearing in Google. Like this one: https://woodify.no/bruksomrade/utvendig-eksterior/?product_order=asc&product_orderby=date&product_count=24&product_view=list

I hope you can take a look and tell me how I can avoid this URL and any others like it to appear in a google search! This is not good for SEO.

Thank you!

Hello

your ajax urls  - ??? the robot will not use the filter on your site. This means the robot will not be able to get such a link and will not be able to index this link

So this link is in your content or in the content of other sites, just delete it!

OR

you can  activate  this  extension - https://products-filter.com/extencion/seo-url-request  - This will prevent you from indexing links with a search query if you have these in your content.

Hello,

Well, if you search for"woodify arkiver" in google and click the link in the screenshot, the full landing url is:
https://woodify.no/bruksomrade/utvendig-eksterior/?product_view=list&product_orderby=name&product_order=desc&product_count=12

Not only does it look like a full filter request, it is also a 404 page when you click it.

I have no idea why google fetches this and why the url leads to a 404, but it is definitely showing this url when you click it.

I am not using the search query, but if you need a plugin to stop google from indexing search results, surely google can index a ajax request url like the one above?!

Any other ideas on how to avoid this? Thank you!

(SORRY, I replied to the email first because I cannot attach the image here. How can I send you an image? Do I have to upload it to an image upload service?)

Hello

Very important! This link has nothing to do with my plugin at all.  This is not my filter request.  My plugin does not generate such links.

we can check this link for more details:  https://woodify.no/bruksomrade/utvendig-eksterior/  - non-existent page on your site (my plugin definitely cannot create non-existent pages)

product_view=list  - This request changes the product display template. This is similar to theme functionality. My plugin does not affect the template

product_orderby=name&product_order=desc  - This is a third party sort request. This has nothing to do with woocommerce. My plugin is a filter plugin and does not affect sorting

product_count=12 - third-party per-page functionality. My filter does not affect pagination

All these requests are non-standard and have nothing to do with woocommerce or my plugin

ajax requests are not indexed.  google can only index links that are in content (that don't need to be generated).  Robots cannot generate links and use buttons and filters on your site

(You can use image sharing services by link OR create a custom page with images on your site and give me the link)
