Logic question on pages with only certain products added via shortcode

I can't find the answer to this in the support area. So apologies if already answered.
If you stream only certain products onto a page using WooCommerce shortcode, then add a sidebar with the default filter widget. Will that filter then only filter the products physically on that page? Basically, will it work on only that cohort of products? Sorry, probably a stupid question!

Yes The filter should only work with these products
But the counters will not work correctly, because the filter has no product information.
In this case, the filter needs information about the current shortcode request.
For example, you want to show products from a specific category"Music"
Filter [woof taxonomies="product_cat:X"] - where X is ID of"Music" term
