Hello,

we are using your plugin"Husky Filter" Pro Version for this client and it is phenomenal and solves what we want (Hierarchy Dropdown Chain filter), but we have one problem so please help us. We created a filtering site where you can select: Car brand, then Model, and finally Body/Year, and the filter throws out a specific wiper according to that selection, which we want for those products' wipers (we added it pyramidally, product category, after that subcategory, and after one more subcategory...).

And now we have a new problem, since we want to add completely different categories:"Oils and Lubricants", so that it has its own 3 subcategories, and those 3 have their subcategories. But in that other filter that might be on the other page, those wipers and those car categories are not mentioned (we want this filter for"Oils and Lubricants" to be on its own and thus output the results, and vice versa) but how can we do that?

If we go to the home page of the client's website (https://brisaci.rs) or through the link (https://brisaci.rs/prodavnica) we can see how that filter works, and you helped us with this by adding a shortcode - picture below:

https://prnt.sc/_XHDW8OvGn7E

And now we would like to be able to filter like this, but only for now new categories"Oils and Lubricants" and their subcategories (E.g. after the subcategory"Motor Oils", then the subcategory"For cars" - later will come more subcategories to this, but the main is"Oils and Lubricants") and when you click the filter or go to the"Shop Page" to display the results of that new category there (to separate those 2 filters) + when you go to that page for the filtered results, you can find a couple of new options for filtering by attributes of those Oils and Lubricants: like selecting"Viscosity","Brand","Quantity - L". - finally something like this: https://lavauto.rs/category/motorna-ulja/227/

(this would be awesome if could connect to this, but it later appears after the filter button is pressed).

It means that"Oils and Lubricants" are not mentioned there for wipers, and wipers are not mentioned in"Oils and Lubricants". Is there any way we can work this out and separate it? Do you have any solution when creating a filter how we can display it, where and what to filter with what, and to connect somehow? Or if somehow this can be done manually through Elementor and some WooCommerce block so that it is filtered through your plugin somehow on that page so that it does not go to the"Shop Page". Any solution you can offer would mean us. You can translate the site above on the globe to English so it's easier to see, and if you need maybe our plugin setup or WP Admin Login or have some questions, please tell us. We hope that you understand our request, thanks in advance.

#Some screenshots (this should be separated) - for this example we didn't add subcategories to this, but we know how.

Hello

I'm not sure I understood you correctly

The structure of filters depends on the data structure (taxonomy)

If you need a separate hierarchical filter in this case you should create a separate taxonomy

Hello,

thanks for the quick reply and your patience (we were not there for the past 2 days, we are here now), sorry for the slightly long message and if it was confusing, we will explain a little better again if there is a need for it.

"If you need a separate hierarchical filter in this case you should create a separate taxonomy" - how to do this exactly? Please help us with a tutorial.

We are sending you our current setup from Husky Filter that we use for the"Hierarchy Drop Down" (Chain) filter for filtering wipers by brand, model, and year/body of the car (Product Categories).

#Filter Setup:

https://prnt.sc/CThCP1qY5oKE
https://prnt.sc/sBzoVLcp9iVr
https://prnt.sc/9ekCTEZSBQxG

Now in this third picture where the car brands are, you can see"Oils and Lubricants", we want this not to be seen in this filter and for it to be only for wipers (that car brands, models, and body types without this"Oils and Lubricants"). After that, we want to create a new"Hierarchy Drop Down" (Chain) filter for this"Oils and Lubricants" category (and put that second filter on a separate page called -"Oils and Lubricants"). It means to be similar to this filter on Home Page, only that it is separate and especially for"Oils and Lubricants" and their subcategories (eg someone chooses"Oils and Lubricants" first, then it opens to him:"Motor Oils""Machine Oils" etc. to choose, then he selects for example:"Motor Oils" and only then the third and last one opens below:"For Cars","For Bikes", etc. like the image below (we will make these subcategories).

https://prnt.sc/QXIBHoVupPcP

After he clicks"For Cars" and"Filter" then sends him to the Shop Page, where only those products from the"Oils and Lubricants" category will be displayed and everything he selected through that filter and is connected (also when he goes to the Shop Page, that there it also does not see other products and categories from that other filter that filters wipers by brand, model and body/year of the car, but to be separate and this"Oils and Lubricants" to have its own path and vice versa).

The last step is when someone goes through that filter and is sent to the Shop Page, so that in addition to the"Hierarchy Drop Down" (Chain) filter for"Oils and Lubricants", they can also see filtering by attributes (the 3 categories of attributes that we have created ) - Viscosity, Brand of Oil, Quantity - L. and that the filter also works there if one of these 3 attributes is selected and that it only throws out those oils (without those wipes and its categories from that other filter). We hope you understand what we want and can this somehow be done with your filter?

We send below an image for the Shop Page (here we want to display later that"Hiearachy Drop Down" (Chain) Filter and 3 attribute categories for that second filter"Oils and Lubricants" (if someone goes through that filter). The first image is that similar filter, and the second is just an example from another site for the attributes we want.

If you need any more information or access to the site (or proof of license), please feel free to let us know and we hope you can somehow help us resolve this. Thanks in advance

Hello

as I wrote earlier, you need to create a taxonomy for Oils and Lubricants - https://products-filter.com/create-custom-taxonomies-plugin

And then you can make a separate filter with this taxonomy - https://products-filter.com/shortcode/woof_front_builder
