How to schedule a product?

Hello, I am trying to set product status to scheduled and choose a certain date.

However from the drop down, I select scheduled and thats it. It doesn't allow me to enter a date anywhere.

Further more, when I edit this product is back end product edit, I can see it set to as 'published', NOT scheduled.
