How to hide child categories until I click on them

Hi,

I have the plugin working for categories, but sometimes on screen load all the categories are on full display (unhide) even though I did not unhide them.

Also other times the categories display correctly on screen load (hide) but when I click on + then it unhides all the children as well.

How can I set the plugin to only show the categories that I click to open?
