How to have a filter that doesn't show attributes that are not on that subcategory?

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the filter plugin. I've 3 main cathegories on my shop with more subcathegories, each of these subcathegories have products with different attributes. Many of these attributes are not always present in all subcathegories and i would like to not show these terms on the filter. The dinamic counting count the products with that specific attribute in the whole cathegory and not only on the current subcathegory that i'm in, how can i do it ?

then the filter will show all filters in all subcategories

Thank you for the reply. I don't know if i explained myself properly. I would like to display on the subcathegory filter only the attributes that are included in that .. for example we sell collectibles products in english, italian and japanese, if i got only english and italian products can i show automatically only the english and italian term on the filter ? Or do i need to exclude manually that term"japanese" ?

Hello

In this case, the filter will count and remove empty terms, filters that have products on the current category page will be displayed.  If it's not so - please  drop me  exact  link to the  issue

Hi, i tried to use that options but work the counting work on all the cathegory and not only on the current subcathegory, i would like that the filter automatically show only the terms that can be filtered for that subcathegory if possible.

As you can see there is only 6 product on this subcathegory (with only the attributes ENG, ITA, Disponibile and Indisponibile) but the attribute count all the products on the cathegory, not only the subcathegory, this is why the filter can't hide the not present terms (JAP, Novità and Preordine)

Hello

https://tcg-store.it/home/giochi-di-carte/yu-gi-oh/  - This is not a category, it's just a custom page where you display products with restrictions. Of course, the filter does not know what products you are displaying on the custom page

Use category pages (archive template) and the plugin will automatically detect the current category and recalculate filters

Or use the [woof] shortcode to display the filter with the attribute: taxonomies   - https://products-filter.com/shortcode/woof
