How to get a block filter instead of slideout?

I have been using WOOF and it was fine. But now I have to create another site and it was renamed to Husky. I just would like to have old fashioned filter at the top of the page without slideout. How can I get that?

Also in slideout filter, all the texts color and background color are the same. How to resolve it? I have changed several colors in theme setting but no solution yet.
