Hi Pablo and fellow WOOT users!
May I ask if there is a way to order a column that is a custom taxonomy in the product table results? For example, the user can click the title header of the custom taxonomy column to order by alphabetical order or numerical order. I have tried various methods using the free version of WOOT without success. Is this a paid feature?
Methods I have tried to get the product table to order by custom taxonomy field"length":
- Creating a new Column, select Field = the custom taxonomy"length"
- the custom taxonomy is displayed as a column but cannot be ordered like the SKU or Title column can be (up/down arrows not present)
- PS: I experienced a bug when toggling ON the"Display as text" setting for the Column that is has a custom taxonomy as the Field
- A red notice appears on the top right of the window: Error! Error! SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
- I tried adding a Meta field with meta key"tax:length" and tried all the Type variations
- "length" disappears from Column Field dropdown, now appears at the Meta key Title (not sure if this is intended)
- If I select the new meta key title as the Column Field, the column does not display anymore

Also, I could not find a page describing the difference between the free and premium versions of WOOT. Please advise where I can find the differences besides the 7 column limit and 2 item filter. Thank you!

I could not find the function to edit my original post to remove the question about the free vs. premium. I suggest the forum should have this feature so users can edit their posts in case they posted their private log-in by accident or have something to revise. I see that I am able to edit my reply without issue.

Unfortunately, the plugin does not have the function of sorting by taxonomy.

Thank you for your reply. I would like to double check, a taxonomy column's header cannot be clicked and ordered by alphabetical or numerical? For example, if the SKU or Price column was a custom taxonomy instead, it cannot be ordered from largest to smallest or alphabetically? I have attached a screenshot with the column order (up/down arrow) highlighted in yellow. The plugin has no such feature. It has to do with the structure of taxonomies and how they are stored in the database.
