Hi I have exactly the same issue as described here https://pluginus.net/support/topic/issue-displaying-category/

I have used the short code attribute [woof taxonomies=product_cat:16] to show only a single gategory plus its children. However all the categories are still showing up.

I used Elementor created page with shortcode.

I tried the woof widget, but that also does not help.

Please help.

Kind regards

Hello

The filter must be on the category page to show only child categories

taxonomies=product_cat:16 - this is pre-filtering by category

Thank you. Unfortunately my theme does not allow me to edit the category page to my styling. I will see what I can do.

Hello

You can try  to add this code  to functions.php

add_action('wp_head',functions(){
if(is_page('PAGE_ID')){ //paste  your page  ID
$_GET['really_curr_tax']='16-product_cat';
}
});
