So I’ve been using your premium plugin for a while now and overall I’m very satisfied.
However I seem to have a problem with hiding irrelevant attributes, brands, etc. in the filters.
As an example this URL (https://pawpalace.se/katt/transport-katt/) you can check which will pretty much give you an idea of my problem. The filters and attributes pretty much seem to fetch all products assigned to them globally on the site rather than on the current category page, showing like there are products in the filters that aren’t there when filtering. Really frustrating for our customers.
I’ve tried searching the internet for a solution on this problem but didn’t see anything that I haven’t already tried.
Basically what I would like is for the plugin to auto-assign only populated attributes and brands of the current category on page load. If one or more attributes or brands or whatever doesn’t have any assigned products on the current category it shouldn’t show.
These are my settings

To make it work the way you want, use the standard archive pages

Quote from edvinuddfalk on February 28, 2022, 15:05That is not correct. I'm building this e-com with a custom theme which might be why you're considering it a "non category page". But this is the very page that is automatically created when adding a category in WooCommerce.
I added the purchase code as advised.

But this is the very page that is automatically created when adding a category in WooCommerce. - Possibly, but it looks like you didn't create the archive pages correctly. I think this page does not have any data about the current taxonomy, for this reason my plugin does not receive data about the category.
Please drop me wp-admin access - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130558.png ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130637.png - I will check settings
Try a different theme for testing. OR demo - https://demo.products-filter.com/product-category/clothing/man/pullover/

Quote from edvinuddfalk on March 1, 2022, 13:49Hello,
I will gladly give you wp-access but I need to inform you that this is a live site with running ads for selling. It is not a testing environment, which is why you need to be very cautious not to cause an error.
You can not switch themes or inactivate any plugins.
I'll provide login details as described.
Thanks

Quote from edvinuddfalk on March 2, 2022, 00:16I just noticed that this page (which is a brand taxonomy in Woo) actually hides the irrelevant filters on first page-load: https://pawpalace.se/varumarke/closer-pets/
Makes me wonder why my other category pages does not?
Don't know if it's helpful, just saw it so thought it might be worth adding to the discussion.

Quote from edvinuddfalk on March 2, 2022, 13:31So basically, if I add the class 'archive' to category pages this should work? Or is the filtering triggered by something else?

Quote from edvinuddfalk on March 4, 2022, 00:00Alright, I have created a staging environment, basically a copy of the site on a non-live environment, where I'd let you go bananas with the code in order to get my problem right.
How does that sound?

Probably you misunderstood me
I won't fix your custom theme. I can do research to test (prove) my assumption

Quote from edvinuddfalk on March 7, 2022, 00:33I solved this myself after a bit of research in combination with the information I got from you.
Finally managed to understand my theme had no declared support for Woocommerce, since it's a custom built theme. So I added this code to functions.php
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'setup_woocommerce_support' );
function setup_woocommerce_support()
{
add_theme_support('woocommerce');
}What the code does is to enable all functions for Woocommerce that a custom built theme does not have (nor many other themes that isn't primarily made for Woocommerce). This broke my theme pretty much so I had to rebuild pretty much all of my product pages and archives. But finally was able to get everything looking just as it did before adding the snippet and now the site is even better.
Thanks for guidance!
