Quote from apekel on May 9, 2024, 18:15Just installed on dev site.. and created multiple filters, and I see that when selecting the hide empty filters option for a selected category, the site initially shows all filters, and slowly reduces to the ones needed.
Its not very good to have this way.. any I missing a setting somewhere to speed this process up.
you can see what I mean by visiting this page

I think you mean filter titles. After loading, the plugin checks if there are empty filters with titles and hides them. The problem is that this check occurs after the page has loaded.

Quote from apekel on May 10, 2024, 14:23yes, exactly.. and I looked at your screenshot and video and this is what I mean.. and its not good to see this.
We currently us Yith and this issue is not there, but we are facing other things and this is why I bought your product.
But I didnt realize that the hide empty names would work in this fashion.
Do you guys have some sort of way to fix this.. I dont think I can work with this plugin otherwise.
Thank you
Ara

Perhaps it will suit you to hide elements by default, and after the page loads only non-empty elements will appear

body .woof .woof_container select {
display: none;
}
and in file - \wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-products-filter\js\front.js - add code - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240514114106.png

Quote from apekel on May 15, 2024, 15:16still not doing what its suppose to... shows he titles very quickly and goes away.. .its very annoying to be honest.
Functionally the plugin is fine overall.. we are still implementing on the dev site to test.. but those titles showing up and closing is not good at all.Aside from that... we use aelia plugin for currency, and our base currency is USD.. but the filter by price doesnt take into consideration the empty values.
Would you be able to do a customization, where the filter by price is looking at the CAD currency, and not the USD currency.. or depending on the selected currency type on the website, use the meta information that would apply to that currency.But before that customization we really need to fix the titles from showing up like they are currently.

- OK! For the next version of the plugin we will make functionality for hiding the filter until it is completely rendered
- Unfortunately the filter is not compatible with this third-party plugin. You can try this one - https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-currency-switcher/
