I have a question regarding the woof search plugin.
For a webshop we have we are using the woof plugin and use that also for our site search to search for products.

When we are on the homepage we search through every product in every category, but when we are in a category and use the search it only searches in that category instead of everything,
How can we change this so that it always goes to search globally?

I’ve searched throughout the settings of the plugin but I could not find anything.

Hello

This is the correct behavior, the plugin only searches in the current taxonomy (category)

So there is no way it could be changed so that the search bar in our header always searches global?

It is confusing for the customers because the search bar is in the header, so its expected that is goes global instead of the current category you are on.

Hello

The problem is that the result should be displayed on the same page. And on the category page it is impossible to show products from another category
