Dear support team, is it the plugin or the template but my system runs on https and the search queries that run through the filer seem to go through http.

My plugin uses - location.protocol - and if this variable returns incorrect data, then the site is configured incorrectly

Try installing SSL plugins. An  example - https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/  and  do  a test
