My website was working great, but when I switched from godaddy to siteground and changed my domain, the [woof] filter shortcode completely stopped working. It still shows up, but when I try and select anything, or click search, it just continuously shows the loading bubbles and doesn't work. Could it be a problem with my license or something? if so how do I transfer it over to the new domain/hosting provider. Also, if it is a license problem, how do i make sure it's set to my production website, and doesn't only work on my staging website (staging2.mydomain.com)? Please help quickly, I'm supposed to give a demo on the site this week and everything just stopped working! Thanks so much for helping!

I used the siteground migrator plugin to move the site over and it automatically changed the domain name on everything, so I don't know if that affects it.

I believe I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling woof products filter. If I need to switch my license over or even buy a new one I'm happy to, but I NEED to have this fixed tomorrow.

I attached a link in the private data. Please include any possible solutions/steps I need to follow in your answer, so I can figure something out if I don't hear back in time after your initial response. I don't mind trying multiple solutions, or paying extra money for a new/different license, I just have to get this fixed by the end of the day tomorrow for my presentation.

Thanks!

Hello

Please  check  option - https://c2n.me/47AtLKR.png

If  no  luck  - drop me  wp-admin+FTP access

That setting was already checked. I'll include FTP access in private data.

But I haven't shut down or removed the woof license from the original site yet (which has a slightly different domain name), so depending on how the licensing works, that's why I was wondering if it has something to do with my license being copied onto both websites during the migration and needing to switch the license somehow, but I didn't see an option for that in woof.

I just bought a second license, deleted WOOF, and reinstalled with the new zip file in case that was the problem, but I'm having the same problem. Whenever I make a selection or click search on the [woof] filter, it just makes the loading bubbles, and never loads.

Hello

I did  test - https://c2n.me/47C2Cxd.mp4 - everything seems to work correctly

Test  link in private  data

That's on the old website. The old site has the same domain name, but plural. I set a redirect to the old site since I have an investor meeting today, but the filters work fine on the old site still. The error is on the new site (without the"s" in the domain), which is the website that the ftp access I included is for. you will likely have to test it on the staging site due to the redirect, but none of my filters work on the new site that I'm trying to migrate to. I'll include a link to the page on the staging site in private data.

I noticed several differences between my Woof admin dashboard when putting both site's admin dashboard side by side. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it.

  1. On the structure page, product category has a"reverse" checkbox next to the"exclude term-Id's" checkbox on the new website, but not the old site.
  2. On the Structure page, when I click additional options for product category I see an additional"Logic of filtering" dropdown at the bottom on the new site, but not on the old site. However, it says that you can choose"AND" or"OR", but my dropdown selections are only"OR" or"NOT IN", and this logic wouldn't make sense anyways, as dropdown is selected, not multiselect.
  3. on the Advanced page, on the options side, I see three additional fields (all empty text boxes) on the new site that aren't in the old site ("Result count css selector","Order dropdown css selector", and"Per page css selector")

None of these differences make sense to me, as both websites have the same options selected, same metadata, same extensions, and are exact mirrors of eachother. Could this be a result of some error in the migration that may also be causing my glitch with the filters not working?

I FTPed into my old site and copied the whole Woof plugin folder, and then uploaded it to my new website via FTP. That fixed the problem, and now it works again. Thanks!

Hello

I noticed several differences between my Woof admin dashboard - it's  a new version  of the  plugin.

Maybe you can do a test on the old site and if there is the  error tell me I'll try to investigate it

No, the error was only on the new site. I have no clue what caused it, but once I copied and pasted the Woof folder from the old site to the new site through FTP, everything worked, so it's resolved. Thanks!

Hello

Ok! Welcome;)
