Hi,

We're having problems with our website speed. We've done some tests and disabling husky filters increases the speed of our site from 16.73 TTI to 3.61 TTI. We're being penalised by google for having a slow site which is not ideal. I've been through some support and trouble shooting that I can find in your support such as turning on Cache dynamic recount number for each item in filter and Cache terms. We also tried using turbo mode but this broke the filters entirely so we had to turn this off.

Thanks

Hello

What plugin version number are you using?

how did you measure site speed?

Please  read  this - https://products-filter.com/searching-is-slow

Hi,

We are using Redis for full page caching and have autooptimise installed, we have given php 512mb and are running this on a 6 core 16gb machine. The database is a managed 2 node cluster database that is very performant so we know it's not that that's causing the issue. We are using PHP8.1 and have set the settings as you have advised.

We know that husky filters is having a big impact on load time as when the plugin is enabled the category page loads in 16.73 and when it is disabled load speed is 3.61.

This is a critical issue and we need a fix urgently as our sales have dropped.

Hello

Ok! Please answer my questions.  and  drop me  exact  link to the  issue

What plugin version number are you using?

how did you measure site speed?

Hi,

I can't drop a link to the site right now as we had to turn the filters off, we are setting up a staging site where we can troubleshoot and I'll send the link for the issue soon.

We are using version 3.3.3 and testing site speed using chrome dev tools > performance insights.

I have added access info.

Hello

I need access to plugins

You have a lot of taxonomies, the filter makes a request for each taxonomy to get a counter

Hi,

I have added you as super admin for the multisite

Hello

My  test:

My plugin is disabled - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013123514.png AND https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013123552.png AND  https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013123611.png

My  plugin  is enabled(Dynanic recount=No) - https://c2n.me/4jxDTas.png AND https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013123741.png AND https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013123808.png

My  plugin  is enabled(Dynanic recount=Yes) - https://c2n.me/4jxEgrm.png AND https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013124710.png AND  https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231013124753.png

My plugin is enabled and disabled - about 140 more requests to the database, the time to load the page is practically the same

My plugin is enabled with  dynanic recount and disabled  - 2300 more queries to the database.  the time difference is 6-7 seconds. As I wrote, with such a number of requests, the server will spend some time. And unfortunately there is no way around this if you need dynamic recalculation.

Optimize the number of terms: remove unnecessary ones and combine similar ones
