I'm reaching out to ask if your product filtering plugin can meet a specific requirement I have for a WooCommerce store. Here’s the functionality I’m looking for:
I want to configure product filters based on attributes so that they only display when relevant to a specific product category or its immediate parent category. For example, I have a"Type" attribute for laptop bags that I would like to display only when users are viewing the"Laptop Bags" category or the broader"Bags" category. However, when viewing other categories, like"Pots and Pans," I want only attributes specific to those products (e.g.,"Stainless Steel") to appear in the filter options.
The main issue I’m facing is that when users are on the main shop page, which includes products from all categories, filters for all attributes across all categories appear. Instead, I would like filters to show based only on the attributes associated with products in the nearest category level relevant to the items displayed.
Does your plugin support this type of filter configuration, or is there a recommended method to achieve this with your tool? If not, do you have suggestions for alternative approaches or other plugins that might support this functionality?

But on the shop page the plugin will display all filters - because all filters are relevant
