Filter collapses "Show More" after filtering results

Hi, first of all, this is a great plugin that works very well for my site.
One small issue is when someone makes a choice on a filter option that I have set to only show 8 terms visible when it first loads https://ibb.co/jkZgHxY they can select"show more" to see the full list of terms. Once they then make a choice, autosubmit produces the results of the selection, but the filter terms collapse back to 8 terms. https://ibb.co/tsYBy3v I would like the filter terms to remain the complete list, as the"show more" option has already been clicked. Is there a way to stop the terms resetting to only 8 visible, after a choice has been made.
I did notice that if I choose a selection after the 8th choice the full list remain open. See screenshot below:
