I’m using this shortcode: [woof taxonomies=product_cat:172]
On the above URL, I’m getting Error 500 or blank page.
I have added this into the .htaccess file
php_value max_input_vars 30000
This seemed to help it work on Chrome, but it is still not working on Edge or Safari browsers.
It is working okay for this category: https://thedeskandchairstore.com/office-chairs-full-range/ so I’m confused!

Try to disable optimization plugins. Clear al cache and do a test.

I have gone through the plugins and can't see what it would be so I have set up an Admin to the site set up for you, details in the requested location. the only page I am having this issue is https://thedeskandchairstore.com/office-desks-full-range/ on the category ID 172 . All other pages and categories are fine. As I said it is not working on Edge or safari but fine on Chrome.

I have just changed this page to have a parent page of office desks and this seems to have fixed it. I haven't needed to do this for the other pages but it does now seem to be working.

So I was wrong and haven't really sorted the issue. For some reason this single page will not load with the filter added if I have the product categoryview limit set to -1 (unlimited). I have deleted all the plug-ins that were conflicting and tested after caching but it is still not right. The filter is not actually working on any browser and only works when I am logged into WP on Chrome. PLease can you help sort this before I remove it, I have spent money on it and so far it really hasn't worked very well. I will send a log-in in the private area. I need the product add on plug in as this is where all my shipping extras are held.

The filter is not actually working on any browser - Server error cannot be browser dependent! The only difference is whether you are logged in or not

The Category view limit is on the actual page where the category is set to, need to edit the category settings to change this. I am speaking to my web developer about the FTP and theme settings so I will post an update later about this as I am out for the rest of the day now.
