Is it possible to open a new filter after 1 filter has been activated?

I have the filter 'type' now. But not every type can be filtered further. So can I set a subsequent filter for certain types?

Thanks for the fast reply. I'm very sorry but I don't understand exactly what to do. I've already set this extention. But I don't understand where I have to set the shortcodes. And how can I ensure that a filter appears after filtering on a tag?
