Exchange rate appears to be reversed

I have a WooCommerce product at $895 CAD. When I switch to USD the product is $1,029.25 USD.
This doesn't make sense. It should be LESS dollars in USD not MORE dollars. When I am viewing other online stores, switching the price between CAD and USD always results in a lower dollar amount for USD.
Please let me know what setting I have set wrong!

Was the initial discrepancy caused because I didn't update the exchange rate after adding the USD currency for the first time?
Also, do I need to worry about this happening again? I set the rate auto update to Daily, so why didn't it update sooner?

I think now everything will work well
Ok so I should have updated the rates when I first added the currencies. Got it.
Perhaps whenever a new currency is added the plugin could automatically update all currencies?
