Hi,

Is there a potential permissions issue with Woocommerce Bulk Editor Professional with regards to writing data to woocommerce products?

We have tried with many 3rd Party plugins now and eventhough we can add the 3rd Party product related fields using the Meta Fields tab and subsequently add those fields to our grid using the settings tab we have the following issue:

  • when we edit the new 3rd party information it doesn't get recorded.

For example, we are using the WooCommerce Product Attachment plugin by https://www.ncodetechnologies.com/. We duplicated a single product in Woobe that we had already added an attachment to, but this attachement was not transferred/copied over to the duplicated product.

We then tried with a free attachemnt plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-attachment/ with exactly the same behaviour.

Did I misunderstand that I thought we should be able to edit/copy and replace all information that is related to Woocommerce products unless it was a custom attribute?

I hope this issue can be fixed.

We can't give you FTP access because we use ppk files via SSH only. We are not allowed to give SFTP details to anyone outside our company.

Why don't we do a screen sharing session or maybe I can record a video for you. Where are you based and I'll work out the right time?

OR  better create  a clone  of  your  site  by - https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ and send me access there (wp-admin + ftp)

The plugin works well with data from third-party plugins that are stored on the product side.

if you do not cooperate with support, unfortunately I can not help you
