I want to put the currency switcher in the footer, like airbnb, but the drop down opens downwards, not upwards, so this is not possible. Is there a solution?

Try changing the dropdown type

Ahh I see. It is then [wpcs show_flags=0 width='130px' txt_type='code'] .
Is there any way to show just the currency symbol ($) and not the code (USD), and also with the description?
