Hi, just bought the plugin and works really well and fast. I only have one problem and that is filtering by attribute (in this case"size", we sell clothing).

backend attibute

In the backend I get around 600 products for each attribute; but in frontend (filter) I only get around 10 products (https://hebbedingkleding.be/shop/)

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello Tim

Please  drop  me  wp-admin access - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130558.png -> https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130637.png I will  check  it

Done :)

Hello Tim

It looks like you have a conflict with a third-party script.  I can't even change the sorting of this attribute - https://share.pluginus.net/video/v20210803130909.mp4

Can  you  add FTP access?

Can  I disable  plugins to test?

Hi Pablo

Thanks!

I've added ftp access.

You can disable plugins to test, but if possible for short periods, its an active site.

I've already disabled the plugin"Post Types Order";  now it is possible to change the sorting, but still the same problem on the frontend.

Hello

your attributes are not created correctly.

Attributes must not have a hierarchy. For this reason, child attributes are not displayed.

I changed the code - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210804195336.png in file - \wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-products-filter\classes\helper.php

if (is_object($value) AND ($value->category_parent == $category_parent OR $taxonomy == 'pa_maat')) {

My  test - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210804195552.png

Hi Pablo

Great, works perfectly indeed! Thanks!

Do I have to change to code with every new update of the plugin?

Hello

Do I have to change to code with every new update of the plugin? - Unfortunately yes. Because this is a private case and the problem is in your attributes.

You can remove the parent element [parent_id] in all attributes and it will work correctly.

Ok and thanks for the great support!

Hello

Welcome;)

Hi Pablo

Just checked, and I seems there is something wrong with the filtering of the sizes: when I choose for example XXS/32 ; I get some products with size XL/42. I can't find the logic in it. Here is an example:

https://www.loom.com/share/ae776d94ce24477abeb555ef1db31cf4

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello Tim

In fact, you have a product with this attribute - https://c2n.me/4d5NzHd

My  test  with"in stock" - https://c2n.me/4d5NI2C

Hi Pablo

Thanks for your reply.

Now I get it; also items not in stock are displayed. But we only sell items in stock, because we cannot order extra; thats why we selected in"products" >"stock" the option"hide products out of stock".

But how can products not in stock be visible through the filter? Can we hide the option"in stock", but make it active?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello Tim

Yes!

Please  check  option  on Advanced->Options - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210824112006.png

And  check - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210824112056.png

Please  read this  - https://products-filter.com/manipulate-search-data-options

Great, that did the trick! Thanks again!

Welcome;)
