husky looks like what I need .. all I want to do is sort product search by more than one category at a time IE pants / shirts / tops as well as blue / red OR yellow etc . is this the free version ?

This is a filtering plugin and does not affect product sorting
If you mean filtering by several attributes, this works fine in all versions. If you have problems with this, give me a link to theĀ issue.
