When using the filter widget on the shop page, the category filters are shown, however, if I navigate directly to a category archive page (e.g. /produktkategorie/rossman), then the category filters no longer display. How can I do this?

Hello

your license key is not valid

On the category(taxonomy) page, the filter shows only child categories(taxonomies)
This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products   )

I used the plugin purchase code from envato as the license key - why is that not valid?

I understand only showing child categories, but normal behaviour and a standard design principal, is to show the parent categories as well, to allow the user to go back up a level. I can't think of a single website where the category tree completely disappears once you enter a subcategory

 Example

Hello
