Quote from danielkjcoles87 on January 31, 2020, 12:47Hi, I've noticed that the filter behaves differently with custom taxonomies than it does with native WooCommerce product tags. Has the plugin been created this way or am I being an idiot.
Disable swoof influence (YES)
I have registered a custom taxonomy "manufacturers" to tag each product with the appropriate manufacturer. If I am currently on a product category (e.g Shop/Mowers) When I select a manufacturer (e.g Honda) when filtering, when the page refreshes, instead of still being on the the page Shop/Machinery I am now on Shop/Manufacturers/Honda. Now if I change the product category in the filter, the page refreshes and I am still on Shop/Manufacturers/Honda.
On the other hand, the same scenario, I'm on the same product category (e.g Shop/Mowers) when I select a native woocommerce product tag when filtering, when the page refreshes, I am still on Shop/Machinery and the product tag has been filtered. This is the behaviour I want with my custom taxonomy manufacturers.

To display the result, the filter uses a shop template. Disable swoof influence (YES) - This option disables it.
Now that taxonomy exists in the search query, woocommerce uses the archive template.
So please use: Disable swoof influence (No)

If I use: Disable swoof influence (No) if the user is on any product category page (e.g Shop All/Mowers) and filters you are taken back to the shop base Shop All (which I assume is the filters shop template?) Is there a way to make it so when you filter from a product category page you are not redirected back to the Shop base Shop All?

are not redirected back to the Shop base Shop All? - The user remains on the categories page. The filter uses a different template (I described it above)
You can test it. Disable my plugin and try this search link - https://c2n.me/45OmwIs.png
Unfortunately, we cannot change this behavior.
