Custom front css styles file link

Quick couple questions.
I tried to link an external filter.css which is placed in my storefront-child. I see the option to insert the link into the"custom front css styles file link" which didn't work but I also see there are multiple options in the advanced > options section. I believe they are"result count css selector","order dropdown css selector", and"per page css selector". Can you send me a link to documentation what these other options do?
Also, I assume the"custom front css styles file link" basically places the code from my filter.css into the block where the advanced > code > custom css code would be executing. Do I need to enqueue the link from my functions.php or am I wrong in my assumption that WOOF has logic in place that by simply placing the link in the"custom front css styles file link" it is then automatically enqueued?

"custom front css styles file link" - this includes your CSS file instead of the main plugin CSS file
"result count css selector","order dropdown css selector", and"per page css selector" - This is only needed if the page elements are not redrawn in ajax mode
I was under the mindset it populated the custom css in. This makes perfect sense.
