Apologies for the very slow reply. I've attached details with a fresh install. I'm using version 2.2.0.3 as I've got some custom code running. I have however also tested with the latest version and it's still got the same issue.
"ddslick" doesn't show the correct selected currency when the page is cached. I believe you fixed it for the other user. Please can you take a look.

I've just tried switching to cookie but it still doesn't work. It seems to be an ajax/js issue not updating with cached pages. It works fine when using a different dropdown switcher. Please can you check the other thread and apply the fix you made there as I have the exact same issue? Thanks

Are you sure you cleared the entire cache, updated the minification files (if you use them), and pressed Ctrl + F5?
Hi, yes I did all that. I'm not using any minification, just basic caching. I did a force refresh. If you try the simple drop down it will work okay even when cached. It is loading the JS you modified, I checked the file in network activity of dev tools.

It doesn't however work when I use designer mode [wpcs sd=1]. It works correctly as [wpcs].
Could you please tweak this so it works with the designer shortcode?
